Culture of 4 is San Diego's premier Hip Hop cultural event that celebrates the four core elements of Hip Hop: Breaking, MCing, DJing, and Graffiti Art. Originally founded in 2004 at the South Bay Family YMCA Teen Center, the event was a staple there until 2010. Kennedy "EraNetik" Phounsiri then took over as the sole organizer and director, steering the event towards greater prominence and expansion.

The event's growing reputation caught the attention of the Red Bull San Diego team, which became its first major sponsor in 2013. This sponsorship marked a turning point, leading to Culture of 4’s inclusion in the inaugural U.D.E.F. Pro Breaking Tour in 2014. Its growing success has then attracted sponsorships from major companies and local brands, establishing it as San Diego's premier street dance event.

Culture of 4 has become a renowned global destination for dancers, drawing high-level competitors from around the world. Its consistent success has solidified San Diego’s reputation as a top-tier destination in the street dance scene.
